My name is Junafil Durano Cosrojas. I am 35 years old and live in Borbon on the island of Cebu in the Philippines.

In my pottery (Bonsai Pot Manufacturing), I specialize in making handmade bonsai pots. Each of these bonsai pots is one-of-a-kind. No two pots are identical.

We use various techniques to create them. For example, we make bonsai pots from clay slabs without using a mold. We also make many bonsai pots using clay coils, a very old technique.

Our pots are available in both glazed and unglazed varieties. We primarily produce bonsai pots larger than 30 cm.

Depending on the type of clay and glaze, the pots are fired in a gas kiln at temperatures ranging from 1200 to 1260°C. All pots are then frost-resistant, meaning they absorb less than 3% water. This is important because we sell our pots to bonsai enthusiasts and dealers all over the world.
